Studio Suite with Two Queen Beds: Pool & Hot Tub

Lovely property, but did not get the room we paid forThe property itself is lovely and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. However, our overall stay was very disappointing because we did not get the experience we paid for.We carefully selected this place out of hundreds for a special trip away, specifically booking a premium, bright corner room with a fireplace. Unfortunately, due to a broken tap in that room, we were moved to a different unit. While we understand that maintenance issues happen, the replacement room was a significant downgrade—a dark space with a dark patio and no fireplace. The host told us it "would not cost us more" to switch, which was misleading since this secondary room is listed for a lower price on VRBO and Airbnb than the one we paid for.We enjoyed our time away, but we did not get the room or the value we paid for. We reached out to the host privately to request a fair partial refund to cover the price difference, but they completely ignored our message. It is a beautiful property, but the lack of communication and unfair pricing ruined the experience.

Room was clean - I had expected a view with the end unit but no view - as this was part of an adjoining room option I found it a bit noisy - you could clearly hear the people next door. There is a fridge - microwave - toaster and tea kettle - would have been nice to have a couple of water or wine glasses and perhaps few pieces of cutlery, plates and bowls. Fireplace gave nice ambience and the walk along the trail to the ocean front was nice - great parking as well and close to many local attractions (driving).

I was disappointed. I was expecting an ocean view and there is no view at all and you are next to a cement wall off the deck in my end unit. The tap was broken in the bathroom maintenance. I called for maintenance and she said right away, two days later still no maintenance. Had to use the bathtub to obtain water for the coffee and brush my teeth etc. Beautiful spot! Just the wrong room.

We enjoyed staying at Pacific Shores & would highly recommend this property.

It’s a great place. Has pretty much everything and anything they don’t is within minutes drive.
